Erin

Erin is a bunny with personality.  She likes things her way, and can let you know, even without words.  She currently has a box in her pen and she insists on the location it should be in.  I put it under the shelf in the corner, and she immediately goes to work to put it back into the middle of the cage.  She likes to explore new areas, and has perfect litter habits, so you don't have to worry about any accidents while she is exploring.  Erin is one of the rare bunnies that "talks" .  She makes a cute, soft, low noise…almost a grunt or a honk, when you come down to see her, which is really quite charming.  

 Erin likes attention, but on her terms.  Due to this fact, she is not recommended for first time rabbit owners, as you need to be able to read her silent messages.  She likes to pretend to be tough at times and charge at you, but if you withdraw your hand until she is done, you can then pet her easily, and she melts to your touch, enjoying every moment of the attention.  Erin also would like to be an only bunny, as she gets temperamental if housed with other rabbits around her.  Erin does well with cats, however, so it appears to just be other rabbits that cause this protective instinct in her.
